Stretching 277 miles from end to end, its rocky walls descend more than a mile to the canyon’s floor, where the wild Colorado River traces a swift course southwest. In 2019, the Grand Canyon celebrated its 100th birthday as a national park. Grand Canyon National Park is one of the world's premier natural attractions, attracting about five million visitors per year. Everyone should see the Grand Canyon at least once in their life.
