Description
The weeping bottlebrush (Calistemon viminalis) is a small tree usually growing to 10 meters tall, grown for its lush weeping foliage and abundant crimson flowers. Native to Eastern Queensland, Australia, where it is commonly found growing along watercourses and floodplains. The weeping bottlebrush tree is a dream of a tree, one of the most popular small flowering trees for its small stature, red flowers, and romantic weeping form. Weeping Bottlebrush is the most popular of all native plants. It's pendulous habit and brilliant red flowers in Spring are an Aussie icon. Taken in California.
