Description
Yucca periculosa is a large, branched, arborescent species up to 6 m tall with creamy white flowers. Many varieties of yuccas can be admired in desert regions of the USA. Yucca is a succulent plant. Succulent plants possess the following characteristics: they absorb water when it is possible and hold it in leaves, roots, stem for a long time so as to be able to cope with the drought; they also have a different kind of metabolism; there are also fewer pores in succulents. This photo was taken in Arches National Park, Utah, USA.
