Description
Millions of European Starlings inhabit the North American Continent. Younger birds are a uniform brown with dark bills.
Nesting Habits: The female lays 4 to 5 white, pale blue, or greenish eggs which are incubated by both the male and female during the day. At night, the female incubates the eggs. The incubation period will last for 12 days. The young will leave the nest 21 to 23 days after hatching. Both male and female feed the young. The young may be fed for 2 - 3 weeks after they've fledged.
